Inter-American Network of Alumni Associations

IANAmericas is the network of Alumni Associations from US exchange programs in the Western Hemisphere. This is a unique platform where leading actors in the fields of academia, government, civil society, business, and the media share expertise, best practices, and recommendations for approaches to common regional challenges.

IANAmericas members are alumni of the U.S. State Department’s prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program and other U.S. International Exchange Programs, all of them from the hemisphere including Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America.  With the support of the State Department and the U.S. Embassies in the region, IANAmericas was launched in an inaugural conference held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in September 2011.  Since that time, the network has been actively exchanging analyses, action plans, and developing proposals to present to decision-makers and stake-holders at national, regional, and global levels.

We invite you to take part in this influential network of experts dedicated to the pursuit of addressing some of the Western Hemisphere’s most pressing challenges. IANAmericas welcomes your feedback, comments, and ideas for future areas of collaboration.
